French Wine & Taste experience
with a Sommelier

Discover the diversity of French wines in a cosy, authentic Parisian wine shop. Taste five distinctive French wines and explore how sweet, sour, salty, bitter and spicy flavours can completely change the way wine tastes.

Ever wondered why some wines taste wonderfully fresh, while others feel rich, round and powerful? Or why the same wine can taste completely different depending on what you eat?

Join me for a relaxed and interactive wine tasting in a traditional French wine shop in the heart of Paris!

I'm Tim, a certified sommelier and wine educator with over 13 years of experience teaching wine enthusiasts. My philosophy is simple: wine doesn't have to be complicated or intimidating. It's about discovering, tasting, sharing and, above all, having fun!

During this experience, we'll explore five distinctive French wine styles, each representing a different expression of France's extraordinary wine heritage:

  • Fresh & crisp whites: Discover French white wines with lively acidity and refreshing character.

  • Rich & full-bodied whites: Explore wines with more body, texture and intensity.

  • Light & fruity reds: Discover elegant reds with freshness, delicate tannins and plenty of fruit.

  • Bold & powerful reds: Taste deeper, more structured reds with greater intensity and complexity.

  • Sweet French wines: Discover the delicious diversity of France's naturally sweet and dessert wines.

But here's where things get interesting!

We'll put these five wines to the test with five different taste sensations: sour, salty, sweet, bitter and spicy.

Through a series of small tasting exercises, you'll discover how these flavours interact with wine. Why does salt make certain wines taste smoother? Why can sweetness make a dry wine seem more acidic? And why can spicy food make some wines feel surprisingly hot?

No previous wine knowledge is needed. Just bring your curiosity and your taste buds!

What makes this experience special?

  • Explore the fascinating relationship between food flavours and wine.
